Fred hails from Kent has been a lifelong Dubliners fan. As a teenager, he grew passionate about Irish music with a particular fondness for early recordings. After many hours of listening to the likes of Michael Coleman and Paddy Killoran, Fred was inspired to begin his musical journey. Self taught, he drew from a variety of influences to settle on a style of his own. After spending his 20s on the London-Irish music scene, he began his ceilidh band, Bowreed, who remain very busy to this day.
